Gulf Coast Provider Network offers free provider referrals through our web site. By clicking on Provider Search, you have the ability to search for a provider based upon name, zip code and city. In additon, while searching for a doctor you may search by specialty, or while searching for other providers you may search by type.

If your physician is not a member of the Gulf Coast Provider Network, you have several options. You can select a new doctor that is in the network or discuss with your doctor the possibility of becoming a member of the Gulf Coast Provider Network.

Because we don't either pay your claims or have access to information about your benefits and eligibility, we need to ask you to contact your claims payor directly regarding how this will apply to your policy. That phone number should be on your insurance card or you may use the Benefit Office Look-up link provided here to find it. Otherwise, the best way to find it is usually to contact the Human Resources office where you work. We appreciate your understanding.

In many cases, the physician or hospital will file the bill in your behalf. However, if you need to submit the bill yourself, there should be an address on your insurance card indicating where you should mail the bill. Or, you may use the Benefit Office Look-up link provided here to locate the appropriate address. In some cases your insurance company may require you submit the bill along with a claim form; if a claim form is required you will need to obtain the claim form directly from the payor. To get an ID card, please contact your benefit office directly. Gulf Coast Provider Network does not have access to your insurance information. Emergency Care coverage is determined by your benefit plan. That information is available through your employer or your insurance company. The Benefit Office Look-up link provided here can be used to look-up your insurance company's phone number. You can also find it on your Insurance ID Card. A Preferred Provider is a prescreened doctor, hospital, or other healthcare provider who has agreed to offer their services at predetermined rates. Gulf Coast Provider Network has developed a PPO (Preferred Provider Organization) Network and the providers in our network are your "preferred providers" of medical care.
